Full day day trip from Marrakech to ourika river

we will pick you up from your accomodation at 09hh00 o’clock and go to discover the authentic lifestyle of the berbers in the ourika river. The latter, is situated in the South East of Marrakech, and due to its approximity to the red city;
many agencies orgonize one day trip to this stunning and serene river.on our way, we will have some short breaks to take some pictures of the beautiful landscapes, and enjoy the view of the Atlas mountains. we will visit a small pottery factory, and see the different steps of making Moroccan’s Earthernwares.
At km 34 we will arrive to shanty town (Dowar in Moroccan Darija) of Tnin Ourika, which considered as the region centre, thanks to its strategic loaction; and the weekly Monday Market orgonized here.
we will visit an Argan oil collective and see the berber womens hard work to flake the fruit and know how they make the precious moroccan gold, as considered by the local. Most of the women working here are the sole earner of their families, so those co-operatives were created to improve the social situation of berber women and help them as well to get an important social status within the Moroccan society. In 2015, Morocco produced more than 4000 tones of this precious oil and much of it was bought by global companies for beauty likewise L’oreal.
we will have a visit to a berber familly and take mint tea with them.

we will continue our way to Setti Fatma small village. This is the last stop of our day trip to ourika river. we will go to discover the small seven waterfalls and come back to have lunch and return to Marrakech at 15h00 o’clock.
