We will discover how the locals live their daily life and have a ride in the back of g>camel in a caravan consisted of a lot camel, through the heart of the desert We will sleep under nomadic traditional tents and admire the beautiful clear sky in a night full of memories, while listening to the music played by the locals. Indeed the dunes of Merzouga are without doubt one of the great sights of the south east of morocco.
We at Morocco Friendly Tours invite you to discover best of Morocco from Marrakech to Sahara desert with all hotel transfers, accommodation and HB meals. We will pick you up at 7 a.m. o’clock and go for a journey that will last 6 hours drive. We will cross the Tizi n'Tichka Col, which is about 2260 Meters high above the sea level. We will have a visit to the most famous Kasbah in Morocco Aït Benhaddou. It is representing the architecture of the houses in the pre-Saharian regions, and also UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE . This beautiful Kasbah was the filming place for many famous international films such as : Ali Baba , Lawrence of Arabia, Cleopatra, Gladiator, the Bible and other famous films. We will have lunch at our leisure in a restaurant near the Kasbah and then continue our way toward Zagora. We will pass through Draa valley and Agdez, this small village is a stopping point for a lot of buses that is going to Zagora. When we arrive at Zagora, you will have an hour camel ride to see the sunset and have dinner in a nomadic camp, at the same time enjoying the music played by local Sahrawi, and sleep overnight under traditional tent (standard or luxury).
We will weak up early to admire the beautiful sunrise with an attractive view from sand’s dunes (optional), then we will have an hour camel ride back to Zagora to catch the minivan to Marrakech.
