Traditional Pottery Workshop in Marrakech

Three hours at the wheel with a master potter, and a piece of your own to take home.

Colorful hand-painted ceramic plates on display in Fes

Overview

Pottery is one of the oldest crafts in Marrakech and the potters' quarter still works the way it did a century ago. In this workshop you sit at the wheel with a master potter, learn to centre the clay, throw a bowl or a tagine dish and decorate it with traditional motifs. Your piece is fired after the class and can be collected a few days later or shipped to you.
