Day trip
A guided walk between Berber villages at the foot of Toubkal, with lunch in a mountain house.
For the sea and a change of air, Essaouira (3 hours west) is the classic. For mountains and villages, the Ourika Valley is one hour away and Imlil, at the foot of Toubkal, ninety minutes. For kasbahs and film sets, Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate make a long but spectacular day over the Tizi n'Tichka pass. For a taste of the desert without the drive to Merzouga, the Agafay stone desert is 40 minutes from the city, with camel rides at sunset and dinner under the stars.
All our day trips are private, with pick-up at your riad, an English-speaking driver and no fixed group: you decide when to leave, how long to stay and where to stop.
No. The real Sahara at Merzouga is 9 hours away and needs at least 3 days. The Agafay desert is the day-trip alternative: a stone desert 40 minutes from Marrakech with camel rides, quad biking and sunset dinners.
Between 7:00 and 9:00 depending on the destination; Agafay is an afternoon and evening outing. We adapt the pick-up time to your group.
Some, yes: Ourika in the morning and Agafay at sunset works well. Essaouira and Ait Ben Haddou are full days on their own.
No commitment, no bots. A real person from Marrakech replies within a few hours.
