Agafay Desert: Camel Ride, Quad Biking and Dinner under the Stars

The stone desert 40 minutes from Marrakech, with a sunset camel ride and a Berber dinner.

Camel ride across the rocky Agafay Desert near Marrakech

Overview

You do not need three days to sleep in the desert. Agafay is a landscape of rolling stone hills 30 kilometres from Marrakech with the Atlas as a backdrop, and it has become the city's favourite place for a sunset. The afternoon starts with an hour of quad biking across the plateau, continues with a camel ride as the light goes orange and ends at a camp with dinner, a fire and Gnawa music.

We bring you back to your riad around 22:00. The same programme is available without the quad, or with an overnight stay in a luxury tent.
