Overview

A long but spectacular day for travellers who cannot spare three days for the Sahara. The road over the Tizi n'Tichka is one of the great drives of Morocco, and Ait Ben Haddou, with its mud towers above the river, is the kasbah every film crew comes back to. In Ouarzazate you choose between the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios before the drive home.

    Guided walk through the ksar up to the granary at the top.

  4. 13:00Lunch

    Restaurant facing the ksar, at your own expense.

  5. 14:30Ouarzazate

    Taourirt Kasbah or Atlas Film Studios.

  6. 16:00Return

    Back over the Atlas, arrival in Marrakech around 20:00.
